1 item left

AD (Adolphe) Jansen Baby Frame Boxlock Ejector, 28 bore, amazing 4 lbs. 13 oz.,  2 3/4" chambers with Belgian nitro proof marks, 26" fluid steel barrels choked Lt Full and Full, concave machined game rib, ejectors, barrels with rib extension, barrels engraved "AD Jansen" and "Bruxelles", European walnut stock quarter sawn with some fiddleback, very fine and diminutive straight grip with long trigger guard extension, 13 3/4" LOP over a horizontal checkered butt, 1 1/2" DAC, 2" DAH, 1/16" cast off for right hand shooters, splinter forend, double triggers, boxlock action with 50% coverage scroll engraving, Greener crossbolt, automatic safety with "S" in gold. Excellent condition gun showing about 80% original case colors on action, minor blue loss at muzzleedges, very clean stock, min. barrel wall thickness excellent at .028.  Jansen was a smaller prestigious builder in Belgium and was believed to source barrels and actions from Francotte.  This is definitely one of the most diminutive and lightweight guns you could find.  This gun was ordered and delivered in the 1950s.  It looks to be a 28 made on a 410 size action.  Care should be exercised on load section and we'd recommend only using 1/2 oz. loads at 1150 fps or less.  A grouse hunter's dream.
