Allan, 144 Irongate, Glasgow", automatic safety, "Safe" in gold, boxlock action with square cross bolt through rib extension 3rd bite, scroll engraved with maker's name in banner on sides, figured English walnut with drop points, completely restored with new case colors, barrel black, oil finish, recut checkering, action and top lever tightened, and new leather pad. A nice single trigger Scottish boxlock with a heavier weight that would be good for live pigeons, waterfowl, or sporting clay work. Bores .731 and .731, min. wall thickness .030 and .031.
