Daryll Whitehead Presentation Steelhead (new stock), 8 1/2 ft., 2/2, 8 wt, nickel silver uplocking reel seat over elephant ivory, the reel seat is fully engraved by Paolo Barbetti, makers name and rod serial number also engraved on locking band, with optional fully engraved nickel silver extension butt with elephant ivory end knob, female ferrule is fully engraved as well as the tops of the male ferrules, ivory winding check, wraps are black tipped in white, white agate stripping guide and tip tops are blued, ferrule plug is buffalo horn tipped on both ends with ivory. Comes with a rod bag, extension butt bag and a two piece rob tube with a top section to hold the butt with the brass cap being also engraved. This is one of the very few of these ever built and may be the most beautiful rod ever made by any maker.
