Orvis 1-Piece Superfine (as new), 6 ft., 4/5 wt, 1 3/4 oz, this rod was made by Calvin Skinner in 1954 just two years after the introduction of this model and remains in as new unfished condition. Orvis only made approximately 125 rods in this model and there are likely less than 75 full length rods remaining in existence today. At 1 3/4 oz., this is obviously a very light weight rod but has tremendous reserve power. Aluminum downlocking reel seat with wood spacer, Orvis brown/burgundy wraps. Original bag and tube.
