This rod is as finely finished as you will ever see and has a medium-fast progressive action that will perform even in moderately windy conditions. Bright nickel silver uplocking reel seat with Tom's logo engraved on the end cap, Amboyna wood insert, garnet wraps with some wraps having a fine gold wire accent wrap, bright nickel silver ferrules, bright guides, nickel silver ferrule plug, hexagonal winding check, beautiful octagonal rod tube with textured enameled garnet finish with black end cap and a minted pure silver logo medallion on top, garnet rod bag and black rod tube bag. Tom's initial plan was to build 200 bamboo rods and stop production. Sadly, Tom's age and health is catching up with him and he ceased production of bamboo. I believe he didn't make more than 50 rods. This rod is in as new condition with bag, tube, and tube bag. A very interesting invesment rod.
