Hardy Marvel, 7 1/2 ft., 3/2, 4 wt, slide band reel seat over cork, translucent honey wraps with green wraps at ferrules, blued nickel silver ferrules, wood ferrule plugs, this rod has long been considered the best rod Hardy ever made for the American market, it has a medium to slow action for delicate midge work but with plenty of backbone for throwing longer lines, this rod had been made continuously for nearly 50 years until about 5 years ago. Although no longer catalogued, they occasionally make one or two. We sold this rod new in 2006 and it was never fished. Still has the plastic on the grip, papers, bag and cordura covered case.
