Granger Registered 9050, 9', 3/2, 6 wt, the seldom seen highest gradge Granger rod built to custom order only, only about 350 of these were ever made. This is the only grade that ever received a serial number and this rod is 1948184 which makes it a 1948 production rod and was the 184th Registered made. A Wright & McGill era rod wrapped in black and tipped in white silks, bright nickel silver Granger screw-locking reel seat, bright nickel silver ferrules with bright guides, comes with the original bag and tube both of which are different than any other models. The tube is black with an engraved plate that reads "Granger Registered, RX9050, Length 9 Ft., Weight 5 oz., Wright & McGill Rod Co., Denver, CO" and the bag is black also. Condition is excellent and looks to possibly had an overcoat of varnish at some time and the grip cleaned. The only issue we can find worth mentioning is a finger tip size of roughness near the bottom end of the grip.
