Granger Special 8040, 8 ft., 5 wt, 3/2,(Wright & McGill) standard Granger screw-locking nickel silver reel seat marked made by Wright & McGill, gold wraps, bright nickel silver ferrules and bright guides, this rod is in very nice condition with no dents in the reel seat, all wraps are good, nice tight ferrule fit, and all sections are the correct length and straight, I believe this rod has been rewrapped but original varnish and lettering was retained, comes with original bag and non-labeled Wright & McGill tube. The Granger 8040 models are considered possibly the best casting rod they made and are highly coveted fishing rods.
