Paul Young Custom, 9 ft., 2/2, 7/8 wt, 5.7 oz, black anodized aluminum downlocking reel seat with a cork spacer, Paul Young's makers marked stamped into the end cap, dark red wraps, black oxidized ferrules, snakes, stripper, and tip tops, hand written on butt "Paul H. Young Maker Detroit 49, 9' GBF", this was a custom ordered rod made by Young in 1949 and made with two different weight tips with one being for the GBF or #8 and the other tip being lighter and written in hand "Light Tip" on it which should throw a #7 line, a progressive action and not parabolic. Fully restored and last sold by Bob Summers and fished little since, original cork grip which was cleaned but not sanded. Remains in excellent restored condition. Comes with bag and tube.
