Daryll Whitehead Standard, 7 ft., 2/2, 4 wt, this rod has a different reel seat than Daryll's normal standard rod. Daryll made this rod originally for himself and somehow I talked him out of it. Truly a one-of-a-kind rod from Daryll, nickel silver sliding band over beautiful birds-eye maple, the makers name and rod serial number are NOT engraved on end cap as normal but written on the shaft (something you just don't see on Daryll's rods), wraps are a translucent honey tipped in red, red/white multi-color agate stripping guide; snakes, tip tops and ferrules are blued, ferrule plug is fossilized mammoth ivory. Comes with bag and labeled aluminum/brass tube. A unique collector's rod. This rod comes back to us as a trade-in (up) on a Whitehead Presentation rod and is in lightly used condition with only a hint of blue wear keeping it from still looking new. We don't get many used Whitehead rods and this is the lowest priced one we've ever put up for sale. If you've been waiting for one to fish with that doesn't break the bank, better grab this one.
