Tom Morgan Graphite Rod, 8 ft. 6 in., 3 wt., 2/1, 2 5/8 oz., burgundy blank, burgundy wraps, bright nickel silver slide band reel seat with nice premium wood spacer, maker's logo on bottom of end cap, red agatine stripper, hook keeper, cigar grip, with rod bag, tube, and tube bag, medium action, versatile light line rod, sensitive tips for fishing small flies and light tippets but with enough power in the butt for good casting range, hexagonal rod tube with a pebble baked finish and a silver medallion set in the top of the end cap. Tom of course is the legendary rod designer and builder who made his name in the rod business when he was the owner of Winston for about a 20 year period. These are Tom's last rod designs and they embody his philosphy that a rod must load properly at fishing distances. These are the finest graphite rods on the market and are fairly scarce as Tom has only built about 40 per year but recently only about 12 per year. This rod has been only very lightly used and show virtually no evidence of it. Comes with original bag, tube, and tube cover.
