Howells, Gary, 7', #4/5, 2/2, serial number 3978, Gary's light 7' model with this one weighing just 2 5/8 oz. This model usually weighs 2 3/4 oz. but with the cork reel seat, it's extra light. Cork reel seat with aluminum slide band, typical Payne brown wraps with yellow/gold tipping, comes with original red poplin bag and labeled aluminum tube. Although the rod is labeled a 5 wt. line, it casts a 4 wt. equally well (maybe better), the rod has been very lightly used and is in excellent original condition. A short, light rod that's all original, showing hardly any signs of use.
