Powell developed these to get bamboo casting qualities out of graphite material. They are construction in six strip method just like bamboo with each triangular section having thin graphite on the sides with a high density hard foam material in the center to act like the pithy section on bamboo. They also have nickel silver ferrules and from a distance you can't tell they are not bamboo. They cast pretty close to bamboo meaning they are slower than most hollow round graphite. Most people who try them really like them. This one is near new condition without issues. A perfect salmon rod. Comes with original bag and tube.
