Carpenter, Walt - Browntone (New) 8', #5, 2/2, this rod was made by Walt for himself and put away for a few years but has now parted with it, grip paper wrap has written in Walt's hand writing " Personal Rod" and signed by Walt, also on the tube label is written by Walt "Walt's Rod". Rod is still new. brown silk wraps tipped in black, blued nickel silver slide band reel seat, blued nickel silver ferrules, a very nice rod in a great length and line weight from one of the true masters from the earlier era. Walt's rods are very difficult to get these days. This rod should have excellent investment potential.
