Otto Zwarg 3/0 Model 300 Saguenay (Rare LHW), Otto Zwarg was the production foreman at Edward Vom Hofe in the 1930s and made his first reels in Brooklyn in 1946 and moved to St. Petersburg in 1947 where he made reels until his death in 1958. His reels are more scarce than EVH reels. This reel has a diameter of 3 5/8", spool width of 1 3/8" and weighs 13 oz., Ultra Rare Left Hand Wind, Direct Drive, 7 stop adjustable drag, hard rubber sideplates with nickel silver end rings and fittings. Marked 3-0 and 300 along with L34. Made in St. Petersburg. Excellent original condition and mechanically in excellent condition. No cracks or chips in the rubber, all screws look to be untouched, some small and light corrosion marks on the spool. Holds a 9 wt. line and 200 yards of backing. Left hand wind reels are almost unheard of and were only made on special order. This is the first I've seen in 15 years.
