Saracione, Joe - Deluxe Midge Engraved, 2 5/8", slightly favors RHW, serial number 60, 5.0 oz., wide 3/4" inside spool and 1 1/8" inside rims, stainless steel rims, delrin sideplates, nickel silver handle and pillar accents, aluminum spool with bronze spindle, ivory handle knob, Arne Mason hard leather fitted case with Joe's logo on top. Fully engraved by master Italian gun engraver Paulo Barbetti including the handle, rims, all screw heads, bearing knob, and sides of foot, marked on the side of the foot "J. Saracione No. 60". Very few of Joe's reels were ever engraved like this and this reel was originally part of a matched pairing with a Daryl Whitehead rod of the same engraving and serial number. Three of these sets were made and sold in the 1990s and we believe these were the only reels ever engraved. Excellent collector piece with great investment potential. Looks to still be in unused condition with only the leather case showing any wear signs.
