Orvis, 1874 Patent Commemorative Reel, RHW only, 2 7/8" diameter, removable handle, nickel silver, walnut box with box bag, in the late 1980's Orvis produced a Limited Edition of 250 Commemorative 1874 Patent reels crafted as exact copies of the original, this reel is 145 of 250 and so stamped on the front plate, the back plate carries "C.F. Orvis Maker, Patented, Manchester VT", in as new condition.
