Leonard 1877 Patent Bi-Metal Trout Half Handle, 4.0 oz., 1 15/16" diameter with a diameter of 2 5/16" pillar to piller, 7/8" spool width, 2 7/8" long reel foot, 2nd model with the removable bearing cap, bronze frame, foot, and handle, nickel-silver sideplates, spool, pillars, and crank handle, hard rubber handle knob, fixed click that is nice and strong, marked on face "H.L. Leonard, Pat. No. 191813", circa 1900, RHW, an excellent plus condition reel with no issues. The classic American raised pillar reel. Very scarce and desirable.
