Paul Hermann Salmon Multiplier , LHW, 3 3/16" diameter, 1 1/4" spool width, 10 oz., 2:1 multiplier, holds an #8 line with 200 yards of backing, serial number 177, black anodized side plates but this reel has the hand polished rims instead of the anodized rims which gives it a very nice appearance especially against nickel silver reel seats, as new unused condition just as it was delivered, with original fitted leather case made by Arne Mason with the Hermann maker's plate stamped into the bottom of the case. Not many people have had the pleasure of holding much less owning one of Dr. Hermann's hand-made salmon reels, these are very limited in production, they are constructed of bar stock aluminum of vom Hofe styling, drum and shoe externally adjustable drag and it is one of the strongest drags we've ever encountered, this reel is begging to be put to good use on your favorite salmon river but it's also a very intriguing investment piece, quality and scarcity rule and this reel has both.
