Hardy St. George Pre-War, 3 3/4" diameter, pre-1924 model with the over-sized center spool designed to take up line quickly (large arbor reels have been around for a while) and the handle closer to the center of the front plate to increase the speed of the winding, clear agate line guard with two cracks, duplicated action but not marked as such, smooth foot with some light filing on one end, retains about 50% of it's original lead oxide finish. A nice sound reel ready to fish. Though a large diameter reel, this is not a large capacity reel.
