Stan Bogdan Model 15O Salmon Multiplier , RHW, 3.5" diameter, 11.5 oz., 1.375" spool width, multiplier, holds a #10 line with 175 yards of backing. This is still an as new unused reel. With the earlier light gold anodized rims sold through Orvis. We can easily date this reel between 1975 and 1977 because the 150 model was introduced in 1975 with it's wider spool to handle the larger line diameters on the new synthetic lines for those switching from silk. The Orvis relationship ended in 1977. This reel does have the special model stamp location that all Orvis reels had on the side of the foot. This is one of Bogdan's most desirable salmon reels and is the widest and highest line capacity of all the 3.5" wide reels and a little time slice of history too. Like most of the Bogdan reels bought off the shelf at Orvis in Manchester, VT, it has no bag and never did.
