Franz Sodia Cape Hammer, 20 bore and.30-06, 3" chamber, 23" Boehler Super Blitz Steel barrels with the shotgun barrel being choked .033 Full, a very lightweight 6 lbs. 1 oz. (without scope), 13 5/8" LOP over a thin pad, pistol grip, double triggers, extractors, cheekpiece, integral quarter rib with double claw mounts and sights, exquisite deeply carved engraving with heavy oak leaves and game scenes, left side of action has a pheasant and another scene of a dog and pheasant, the right side of the action has a roe deer and another scene with stags, trigger guard and grip cap engraved, fully engraved stock bullet trap door with oak leaves and a Capercaillie game bird, nicely figured Circassion walnut with finely carved oak leaves around the action, grip and fore-end. This is about as ornately adorned combination gun as can be made and a very uncommon over/under exposed hammer action. A true one-of-a-kind firearm that would surely cost in excess of $40,000 to replace. It remains in remarkable condition showing extremely little if any use.
